Tyneside Self Storage is celebrating a successful first few months of trading thanks to an impressive response from locals looking to store their goods and belongings in a safe and secure environment.
Tyneside Self Storage welcomed customers to its storage site based at West Chirton North Industrial Estate, North Shields when doors opened in March.
Impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities, including CCTV, electronic 24-hour access and automatic number plate recognition, new storage tenant, Phil Barmston, said: “Having moved to the area from London with work, we were looking for a self-storage facility for our furniture and belongings while in rented accommodation.
We visited Tyneside Self Storage and were immediately taken by the level of security, excellent customer service and competitive rates.”
Mike McColl, Managing Director of Tyneside Self Storage and neighbouring composite panel manufacturers, Isoclad, says: “We strive to deliver a storage solution to both domestic and commercial tenants and are delighted that Mr Barmston chose Tyneside.
“We’ve had a great response from our first flurry of customers who have had a variety of requirements whether they have recently moved home, taken on additional business stock or need somewhere to store leisure gear such as skis and snowboards; we have even recently secured a container for a local club looking to house their canoes and surfboards.”
Tyneside Self Storage currently has a range of easy-to-access shipping containers available in both 8ft and 20ft lengths, with 10ft lengths being released soon.
All of the steel containers are brand new and exceptionally clean and are available for as little as £50 per month.
